Unfortunately, our room faced the street, making it quite noisy at times, especially with the window open for ventilation in the warm weather. Furthermore, I was disappointed by the lack of common spaces for guests. we felt confined to our room without a social area to relax or mingle. Also, I expected a more interactive breakfast experience instead of having our meal delivered in a picnic basket, which felt less personal than I had hoped.

I loved my stay! The room was neat, tidy, and clean, and the shower was the best on my trip. Breakfast was a delicious picnic basket filled with pastries and yogurts. The host recommended a great pub, and I could keep my car parked there longer to explore.

This was a prime choice for a temporary stay in Kilkenny with decent value for money. The yogurt provided for breakfast was surprisingly delicious and a nice touch. Just be aware that parking can be tricky at times.

castle lodge b&b is easy to find with plenty of off-street parking. our room was pretty and spacious, tucked under the eaves, featuring a large ensuite bathroom. breakfast was a delightful picnic basket with a good variety of items. loved that charming touch!
